Shelving and equipment for libraries and museums

A library or museum collection needs space, care and good organisation. For storage areas we offer mobile shelving for books, museum objects and paintings; the rows move on rails and take up to 60% less floor space. Static library shelving uses boltless fixings, so shelf heights are easy to change as book formats vary. Book cleaning machines take dust and micro-organisms off volumes and archive papers without chemicals, and run quietly enough to stand in a reading room. A workstation with a closed chamber is available for restoration work. Lending, returns and collection security are handled by an RFID system: tags, security gates at the entrance, librarian workstations, self-service terminals, an inventory reader and a 24-hour library.
